Design, Live, Love, Repeat

Everything that exists in this universe has, to some extent, a trace of design in its very essence. Whether it’s natural or made by humans everything has order, structure and a sequence of events that enabled its manifestation out of the chaos and the void.

As humans, we feel an urge to create in any form possible. The most common of our creation tendencies is art, by far the most beautiful of all forms of creation but not the only one. Design plays a major role in the endeavor of creation because creation cannot exist without the process of becoming.

When we create, we mostly transform what already exists into something that is yet to be. We make connections, find new paths and rearrange the elements that make up our current reality to expand and alter everything around us. Creation is therefore an act of transformation in its essence and Design is the gateway that leads into that mystical metamorphosis that we seek so much.

And why do we seek transformation so much?

Because our consciousness is aware of the constant change all around us. Nothing remains the same, not even for the duration of a second.
Every living thing is made up of cells, molecules and atoms. The skin is constantly shedding and cells in our bodies are dying and being born by the thousands every day. That means that the person we used to be a week ago is literally not the same person that we are today because almost every cell in our bodies is a brand new cell.
The air around us is not the same, we are breathing the breaths of thousands of millions of people who lived before us from all over the planet, and after us, the air will never be the same. The plants grow, every living creature develops and dies eventually. Nothing remains the same for too long.

Life is constant change and change is design.
Life is constant design.

There are many requirements for life to be sustainable, but the most important one is fuel. Food and water are important I will not deny that, but that is not the kind of fuel I am referring to.

The best catalyst there is, is fire. Combustion is the avatar of change and transformation.
Life also needs fire to promote change, the fire that bursts the gates of the flames of creation wide open is none other than love.
A wild and passionate love for life that burns the brightest in the midsts of uncertainty.

Life is at its peak, when love runs with intensity in every cell, in every molecule and every atom of our bodies.
Love, is to deem worthy every second of something or someone because you know that every instant is a gift that will never return.
When you fall in love you want to capture every second in your memory because deep down, unconsciously you know:

This moment can only exist now and never again.

Fall in love constantly, with yourself, with life, with nature, with colors, with a person, with a song, with a poem, with a word.
Fall in love endlessly.
Fall in love fearlessly.
Fall in love, live with intensity and create relentlessly.

This is your life.
You will only live it once.
And when a moment is gone, it’s gone forever.
So cherish your life, every goddamn second of it.

So go!
Design, live, love and repeat.
For as long as we shall live.
